This handwoven piece is in the peak of fullbloom. The materials symbolize transience in contrast to more lasting values.
The bases of the weave is made from a natural material that is easily decomposed by nature. The knots are made from second hand fabrics, mostly polyester and reused plastic - discarded materials that can never be decomposed and disappear.
The piece does not have a back side, it looks the same on both sides.
