A handwoven piece in a thecnique called rya. The materials symbolize transience in contrast to more lasting values. The bases of the weave is made from a natural material that is easily decomposed by nature. The knots are made from second hand fabrics, mostly polyester and reused plastic - discarded materials that can never be decomposed and disappear.
