When people look at woven art they often assume that it has a funktion, that it’s ment to be used in some way and not to be considered like an artwork in a different tecnique. One thing that sets textile apart from other materials is its tactile quality that evokes the urge touch it. This piece has been created from that observation. The weave is woven from many different materials and the mix makes the weave unuseble, wool, cotton, hemp and plastic.
