Shibori room

A room made of hand dyed frabic. Hight 220cm, diameter180cm.
The dyeing technique that I have used is characterized by a combination of control and chance. By folding and clamping pieces of wood to the fabric I'm creating a pattern. The water leaves clear and unpredictable marks and adds depth and variation to the pattern. This room is a calm space where your mind can focus and let go of stressful thoughts.
