The rug is made in the traditional Swedish technique of “trasväv” (rag weave) but in a modern style,

where the typical striped design is exchanged for a larger abstract square pattern. The rags are made of

repurposed materials from the textile industry and some interior textiles from our local citizen’s house

(where above photo is taken). I made this rug in collaboration with my fellow artist Miriam Parkman.
